Production Method
(1) Butadiene route
Butadiene and acetic acid are catalyzed by manganese acetate and compressed at 140℃ to obtain γ-ethylene-γ-butyrolactone, which can be obtained by hydrolysis at 100℃ under acidic conditions.
(2) Ethylene ketone method Acetic acid vapor containing alkyl phosphate catalyst stays in a cracking tube above 700℃ for 0.3s, and the generated gas mixture is converted into ammonium phosphate with ammonia catalyst and deactivated. It is cooled step by step to -30--10℃ to remove water, acetic acid and acetic anhydride. Ethylene ketone gas is absorbed by crotonaldehyde and generates polyhexene-4,5-β-lactone under the catalysis of boron fluoride. The polyester is hydrolyzed under acidic conditions. After cooling, crude sorbic acid is precipitated and then recrystallized with 3-4 times the amount of 60% ethanol.
