What is Tetrahydropalmatine?

Tetrahydropalmatine Powder is primarily derived from the dried tubers of *Corydalis yanhusuo* W.T.Wang (Papaveraceae), as well as other related plants such as the tubers of *Corydalis yanhusuo*, the whole herb of *Corydalis simonii*, the root of *Corydalis yanhusuo*, and the root of *Corydalis yanhusuo* (Menispermaceae).

Its chemical structure contains benzofuranoline ring and ethanolamine group. The compound can be obtained from Corydalis yanhusuo by alcohol solvent extraction, crystallization and purification. Studies have shown that it can reduce pain transmission and inflammatory response by changing the signal transduction pathway in the nervous system, thereby achieving analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
